According to Morena Valdez, the country's tourism minister's acceptance of bitcoin has helped the country's tourism industry as more and more tourists travel to El Salvador to spend their bitcoins.
According to Valdez, the legalization of bitcoin in El Salvador has encouraged bitcoin enthusiasts to spend time and money in the country.
The minister attributed the improvement in the country's tourism industry to three factors, one of which is bitcoin. She said the government's decision to accept bitcoin as legal tender was a wise one.
